About the yurt
Yurts have been with us for millennia. We look for their origin in Central Asia. Asian nomads often changed the place of their activity. They needed houses that would reliably protect them from weather conditions. But at the same time, these houses had to be dismantled and easily moved. And that is why the yurt as we know it today gradually evolved from the original tents resembling an Indian tee-pee.
A modern yurt of the thirteenth century
The oldest surviving yurt was discovered in a tomb from the thirteenth century. It looked quite similar to today's modern yurts. It is a system proven for thousands of years, which obviously does not need any major improvements. Circular shape, door and top opening, or dome. A simple, functional design that allows maximum use of interior spaces and protects residents from the vagaries of the weather.
We create for you
Yurts are popular worldwide. In the countries of the modern Western world, they find many different uses. Not only ordinary people, but also businessmen have taken a liking to yurts. They operate special tea rooms, spiritual centers with thematic workshops and other business plans. Yurts become the background of forest nurseries and various interest groups and associations.
Of course, yurts are also used by ordinary people for full-fledged living. As stylish holiday cottages or directly as objects for permanent living.
Year-round yurts with insulation
This is the traditional purpose of yurts. Provide comfortable facilities all year round. The original inhabitants of yurts were nomadic nomads. Their lifestyle required frequent moving from place to place. The yurt had the advantage that it could be quickly disassembled, transported to a distant place with the help of animals, and quickly assembled there again.
Modern yurts have also retained this feature. The basic frame is made of wood and is covered with several layers of sails, between which sheets of sheep felt are inserted. All these parts can be quickly disassembled and transported from place to place. A yurt does not need foundations. Just place it on the feet and the wooden floor.
